What do I need to register? (Please see food bank hours/items needed below)

In order to register for food bank assistance, you will need to show:

Two items as proof of current residence, i.e. phone bill, gas bill etc.
Proof of every person, adult or child living in the household, i.e. health cards, child tax credit papers.
Proof of income whether from social assistance or employment.  In order to qualify for food bank assistance, household incomes will be assessed according to current government Low Income Guidelines.

We are currently taking registrations for Helping Hands of Haldimand 's Back Pack Program, for the 2011/12 school year.

hours of operation

The Caledonia & District Food Bank is open every Friday from 09:30-12:00 noon.  If you have an emergency or if you would like to make a donation, please call us at (905)765-9287, and a representative will contact you as soon as possible.  We are now located at 103 Inverness St. (between Orkney W and Sutherland St. W).  Please note we will be open every Friday in June, July 8, July 22, August 12, August 26, Sept 2, and every Friday following.
